Starting Pay: $20.08/hour, with scheduled increases. Additional compensation dependent on experience.
Evening/weekend hours are eligible for 11% shift differential.
What is the 23-HOUR Crisis Stabilization Program?
The program is open 24/7 for anyone voluntarily seeking support for mental health emergency or crisis. They can stay at the center for up to 23 hours, where they will get support from trained professionals. The goal is to keep beds available at hospitals and provide an alternative place for someone to stay in a crisis.
This is an opportunity to implement a successful program in our region that will make an immediate and visible impact in people's lives!
Clinicians will provide individualized services to individuals experiencing urgent behavioral health needs, including significant emotional dysregulation, disordered thought processes, and substance use.
Some of the services that may be performed during a typical day are:
- Crisis intervention
- Skills restoration
- Admissions support
- Treatment planning
- Discharge planning
- Linking to community supports
- Documenting services
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a human services field that meets requirements to register for certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) and Certified Substance Abuse Clinician (CSAC)
- Experience working with adults in behavioral health crisis is a plus!
- Safe Driving Record: This position requires transporting clients or driving an agency vehicle. Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last three years AND no criminal violations in the last five years).
- Background Check: Candidates who are offered a position are required to undergo a background check and drug screen.
