Manager, Case Management & Support Services (Forensic/Jail)

Are you a passionate mental health professional looking to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals affected by substance use and co-occurring disorders? Must have a bachelor's degree in a human services field and a minimum of one year experience working with adults diagnosed with a substance use disorder and/or co-occurring disorder.

Pay Range: $59,500-$72,000/annually, depending on experience.

We are seeking a Case Management & Support Services Manager in our Forensic/Jail Services Team. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of case management and supportive services to incarcerated individuals and those with a history of incarceration who are struggling with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Our goal is to help clients develop the skills and resources they need to successfully reintegrate into the community upon release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development: Collaborate with the Forensic Services Director to design and implement evidence-based jail services programs.
  • Supervision: Provide coordination and management of daily operations to a team of case managers.
  • Crisis Management: Manage crisis situations effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and staff.
  • Coverage Scheduling: Develop and implement a staff coverage schedule to ensure consistent and adequate support for clients.
  • Collaboration: Build strong relationships with local jails and community partners to facilitate referrals and coordinate services.

Qualifications:

  • License Requirement: Bachelor's degree in a human services field. CSAC or CSAC Supervisee preferred.
  • Experience: One year of experience working with adults diagnosed with substance use disorder and/or co-occurring disorders.
  • Licensure/ Certifications: QMHP-A preferred, CSAC or CSAC Supervisee preferred.
  • Safe Driving Record: Candidates must have a valid Virginia driver's license with a safe driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last three years and no criminal violations in the last five years).
  • Background Check: Candidates who are offered a position are required to undergo a background check and drug screen.
