Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare is a Community Mental Health Center located in Roanoke, VA hiring for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is part of an interdisciplinary team to provide psychiatric evaluation, ongoing medication management and substance use treatment to adult clients of BRBH.

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Education: Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Experience: Two (2) years providing treatment to those with psychiatric illnesses and co-occurring disorders; knowledge of related psychopharmacology.
  • Background Check: Candidates are required to undergo a fingerprint background check and drug screen.
