Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) Therapist (First episode psychosis)

Schedule: Mon - Fri. No weekends!

Pay: Additional compensation commensurate with experience. 

  • Master's Degree: $24/hour. Degree must be eligible to register as a Resident in Counseling or Supervise in Social Work.
  • Licensed LPC or LCSW Pay: $31/hour.

Be at the forefront of mental health care as part of our innovative Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) Team for First Episode Psychosis! The CSC Therapist will provide direct services to clients and their families, offering psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and crisis intervention. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping individuals with early-onset psychosis and have a strong commitment to recovery-oriented care. This position is grant-funded.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and family psychotherapy to assist clients in clarifying goals, coping with stressful situations, and overcoming barriers to recovery.
  • Deliver psychoeducation and skills training to address specific client needs.
  • Provide crisis intervention services to at-risk clients.
  • Document services in compliance
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Education/Licensure/Certifications: This position requires a Master's degree that is eligible to register as a Resident in Counseling or Supervisee in Social Work in Virginia. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will have a higher pay rate.
  • Experience working with youth or adults with behavioral health disorders is a plus!
  • Safe Driving Record: This position requires driving agency vehicles and transporting clients. Candidates must have a valid Virginia driver's license with a safe driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last three years AND no criminal violations in the last five years).
  • Background Check: Candidates who are offered a position are required to complete a background check and drug screen.
