Clinician, Project LINK

If you are passionate about providing gender-specific treatment services for pregnant and parenting women and their children, Project LINK is for you!

The goal of Project LINK is to engage women in needed services and improve outcomes for newborns and families. Project LINK offers targeted treatment opportunities specifically for women experiencing substance use challenges. Services include trauma-informed treatment groups, case management, connections to community providers, and specialized programming designed to reduce barriers to treatment.

Clinicians in Project LINK are responsible for engaging women in individualized services, treatment groups, education, assessment, and discharge planning. They also assess the safety and well-being of parents and children and provide crisis intervention when needed. Many of the mothers served experience mood disorders and/or substance use disorders and may face difficulty accessing essential medical, psychiatric, social, educational, and vocational supports needed to thrive in the community.

Starting Pay Rate: $20.08/hour. Additional compensation commensurate with experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in an acceptable human services field or 90 hours of human services classes.
  • Experience: One year preferred of experience working with individuals with substance abuse disorder or with co-occurring diagnoses of substance use disorder and mental illness; or a Board of Counseling Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) or CSAC-Assistant under supervision.
  • Licensure/Certifications: Board of Counseling Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) or CSAC-Assistant under supervision eligible
  • Safe Driving Record: Candidates must have an unrestricted driver's license and a good driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last three years AND no criminal violations in the last five years).
