Case Management Documentation Specialist

Are you an experienced Mental Health Case Manager with an interest in training and leadership?

BRBH is seeking a Case Management Documentation Specialist, who acts as a trainer on completion of high quality clinical documentation for our Mental Health Care Coordination program. Our Case Managers assist adults diagnosed with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorder in accessing supports essential for living in the community and meeting basic needs. Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate onboarding, training, consultation, and shadowing for new Case Managers
  • provides individual and group training in utilization and navigation of the Electronic Health Record
  • Assist the Director in tasks related to the electronic health record
  • Manage referrals
  • Carries a partial caseload
  • Assists in guidance to Case Management staff

Staring Pay Rate: $21.08/hour. Additional compensation commensurate with experience.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma Required. Associates or Bachelor's degree is a plus!
  • Experience: 6 months of experience working with adults diagnosed with a serious mental illness.
  • Safe Driving Record: This position requires transporting clients or driving an agency vehicle. Candidates must have a valid Virginia driver's license with a safe driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last three years AND no criminal violations in the last five years).
  • Background Check: Candidates who are offered a position are required to undergo a background check and drug screen.
