Position Summary/Responsibilities

As an Intensive Care Coordinator/CSA Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• implementing the High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) process for families of children and youth with complex emotional, behavioral, and environmental needs
• facilitating the development of a short-term crisis stabilization and transitional plan;
• educating families and completes a Strengths, Needs, and Cultural discovery assessment
• working with the family to develop a team of service providers and natural supports.
• facilitating meetings and is responsible for leading the team through the HFW action plan. For more information on the HFW model: https://www.csa.virginia.gov/Resources/FidelityWrapAroundCOE/0
• oversee all of the CSA cases and referrals to the Family Assessment and Planning Teams (FAPT) across the five localities we serve
• provide case support, work with the families, prepare all CSA paperwork, present cases at FAPT and monitor/report on services monthly for FAPT cases.

What we are looking for: The ideal candidate will have experience who is looking to grow their leadership skills, has a passion for working with families, and is able to follow the structure of the evidence-based process of High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW). Successful candidates must be self-aware, empathetic, highly organized, and enjoy meeting with and engaging a team.

Hiring Range:

The anticipated base salary for this position is $43,120.62 to $53,900.78. Actual compensation offered within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, qualifications (knowledge, skills, and abilities), geographic location, complexity of role, and other relevant business considerations. We kindly ask that candidates do not discuss compensation until after an offer of employment is extended.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience: Minimum two (2) years working with seriously emotionally disturbed children and adolescents and/or other case management services preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: QMHP preferred. Must be able to successfully complete High Fidelity Wraparound certification and participate in annual trainings.
• Background Check: Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry report will be required upon selection.
• Safe Driving Record: This position requires transporting clients or driving agency vehicles. Candidates must have a good driving record, which is defined as no more than two moving violations in the last three years and no criminal moving violations in the last five years.

Special Work Conditions

This role requires the ability to communicate effectively with staff, clients, and partners, both verbally and in writing. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position for portions of the workday, move throughout office or community settings, and operate a computer and standard office equipment. The position may occasionally require lifting or transporting materials or supplies up to 10 pounds. This role may require participation in trauma-informed physical practices, such as standing, positioning, and de-escalation techniques, when such activities are essential to the position. These functions may be performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
