BRBH is looking for someone age 18-26 who experienced services (mental health, social services, or court system) and is looking for an opportunity to support youth who are currently receiving services!
The Youth Support Partner (YSP) is a member of the team that has experienced the mental health, social services, or court system through their own lived experience, and supports youth who are currently receiving services. The YSP engages youth, gathers information from them about their strengths and challenges, prepares them for team meetings, and helps them connect with other youth and with natural and community supports. The YSP supports youth in finding and expressing their voice.
The ideal candidate is outgoing, energetic, and has the skills to connect with children and adolescents through their own life experiences, while maintaining appropriate boundaries. They must be able to effectively communicate and work with a team and have the ability to recognize and adjust services to cultural and ethnic differences.
This position is full time, 40 hours per week.
