Total Rewards Coordinator

Do you have experience designing, implementing, and managing compensation and benefit programs?

The Total Rewards Coordinator supports the design, implementation, and management of compensation and benefits programs that align with the organization's strategic goals and enhance employee engagement and retention. This role provides analytical expertise and operational support to ensure effective execution of the total rewards strategy. Other duties include:

  • Overall responsibility for the Agency's compensation and classification system. This includes all job evaluations (newly created and re-evaluations), market analysis, salary surveys, FLSA classifications, market analyses, and pay grade adjustments.
  • Interfaces with key stakeholders in Finance, HR, and various levels of management regarding position control and assist with negotiating salaries.
  • Coordinates health and retirement benefit plans to include education and enrollment.
  • Manages and administers extended leave including Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), short-term and long-term disability plans.
  • Conducts, documents, and makes recommendations based on the Interactive Process required by the Virginia Pregnancy Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
  • Makes recommendations based upon reports generated to ensure compliance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

Pay Range: $49,222.60-$73,833.90/annually

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience in Human Resources, business, or related field.
  • Experience: Two (2) or more years of experience in compensation, benefits, or HR roles.
  • Licensure/Certifications: Relevant certifications (i.e. CCP, CBP) are a plus!
  • Background: Candidates who are offered a position are required to undergo a background check and drug screen.
