Supervisor of Residential Assistants

Hiring Range: $44,747.82-$55,934.77/annually

Our Supervisor of the Residential Assistants supervises all RAs (full time and relief) that are employed at BRBH CSU/Recovery Center. The Supervisor of the RAs provides direct supervision to Residential Assistants in the Residential Crisis Stabilization program (24x7). They are responsible for ensuring appropriate and necessary Residential Assistant supports are carried out in a timely, ethical, and customer service focused manner. RA Supervisor reports to the Director CSU, and collaboratively with the CSU Clinical Manager and Kitchen Coordinator, to ensure smooth delivery of Residential Assistant supports and services. They provide leadership and guidance to Residential Assistants on the unit to include daily monitoring, delegating duties, coordinating Residential Assistant Meetings, and participate in nursing or all staff meetings. Ensure team follows all state and federal regulations including those related to confidentially, releases of information, and documentation standards. Order or shop for supplies for the unit to maintain adequate stock. The team of Residential Assistants are responsible for monitoring client behavior on the Crisis Stabilization/Detox unit, assisting with rounds, maintaining safety, and assisting with admissions.

Duties:

  • Provides direct supervision to Residential Assistants to include scheduling, job duties, hiring, performance reviews, and coordination of trainings
  • Will be first point of contact for scheduling and managing coverage
  • Coordinate training of new staff and onboard new staff
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team of Residential Assistants
  • Provide direct care as needed when staff are in training, absent, or additional assistance is needed - including meal preparation, light housekeeping, monitoring client vital signs, and support of other client needs
  • Monitor and maintain adequate stock of supplies

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma required
  • Experience: One year of experience working with individuals with mental illness or chemical dependency is required. Experience in a residential treatment facility is a plus!
  • Safe Driving Record: Safe driving record required (no more than two moving violations in the last three years, no criminal violations in the last five years).
  • Background Check: Candidates who are offered a position are required to undergo a background check and drug screen.
