Scheduler/Administrative Assistant

Great Schedule: The schedule for this position is 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with one hour lunch, Monday - Friday.

Pay Range: $14.69-$22.04/hour

The Centralized Scheduler/Administrative Assistant is responsible for scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments for multiple agency locations in a timely and courteous manner (approximately 4,200 appointments scheduled monthly throughout the agency). The responsibilities of scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling appointments are handled via phone, e-mail, electronic ticket system, or walk-in setting with a high volume of daily calls with the client and/or service provider. The position will also:

  • Will provide excellent customer service to all customers internal and external.
  • Will utilize provider time effectively, and schedule appointments accurately and in a manner that creates few gaps in provider schedules.
  • Answer phones and direct to appropriate parties.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: One year customer service experience working with diverse client populations preferred. Two years' experience preferred working in a healthcare setting with scheduling functions, and an understanding of HIPPA (client confidentiality).
  • Background Check: Candidates who are offered a position are required to undergo a background check and drug screen.
  • Safe driving record: This position requires transporting clients or driving agency vehicles. Candidates must have a good driving record, which is defined as no more than two moving violations in the last three years and no criminal moving violations in the last five years.
