Manager, Children's Services

Responsibilities: The Intensive Services Manager oversees the Intensive Care Coordination (ICC) program, which is comprised of intensive care coordination, peer supports, and related Children's Services Act (CSA) specialists. The Manager represents BRBH in a professional and responsive manner and oversees funding requests.

The manager defines the roles and duties of each staff person, monitors job performance, and conducts case reviews, in addition to ensuring adherence to guidelines of the Children's Services Act (CSA) in 5 localities to certify proper documentation is presented to the teams who work with the families, including CSA Coordinators, Family Assessment and Planning Teams (FAPT), and Community Policy and Management Teams (CPMT).

High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) Process: The successful candidate will direct services and help ensure service plans developed by the children/youth and family are consistent with the principles of the High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) process and are individualized, strength-based, culturally competent, and include steps for implementing crisis management. To support the Wraparound Facilitators and Parent and Youth Support Partners in their work in the team process, the Intensive Services Manager will employ various coaching strategies, such as group coaching, documentation review, and other modalities that build knowledge and create fidelity to the process. This position is required to successfully complete HFW for facilitators and supervisors as well as participate in a yearlong training to become a HFW Coach. Pay Range: $59,559.34-$89,339.02/annually

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children/adolescents with a serious emotional disturbance and their families. 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
  • Education: This position requires a master's degree in a human services field that fulfills the criteria for eligibility for professional licensure as a professional counselor or clinical social worker in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Background Check: Candidates who are offered a position are required to undergo a background check and drug screen.
  • Safe driving record: This position requires transporting clients and driving agency vehicles. Candidates must have a good driving record, which is defined as no more than two moving violations in the last three years and no criminal moving violations in the last five years.
