Exciting opportunity to lead a strong team! BRBH is looking for an Emergency Services Director to lead an experienced team of therapists assisting individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis.  This is a dynamic, fast-paced, and fulfilling area where you can have a direct impact on individual's lives.  Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare has a stable history of over 50 years supporting the recovery of people with mental health disorders, substance use, and developmental disabilities. This position will supervise a stable team of dedicated therapists who assess individuals in crisis and determine the best level of care.  The crisis field is currently expanding in scope and availability of services and this position will also have the opportunity for direct involvement in the development and implementation of mobile crisis responses. 

Pay Range: $72,066.81-$108,100.30/annually

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: This position requires a Master's Degree in a human services field that fulfills the criteria for eligibility for professional licensure as a professional counselor or clinical social worker in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Experience: Five years' experience working in crisis services such as emergency services, prescreening, or a 24/7 crisis program; or two years' experience demonstrating excellence in management, leadership, and team dynamics; or a combination of experience and management/leadership skills.
• Licensure/Certifications: Licensed in the State of Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist and be a State Certified Pre-screener.
• Safe Driving Record: Candidates must have a valid Virginia driver's license with a safe driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last three years AND no criminal violations in the last five years).
